2004 San Francisco World Spirits Championship – Gold Medal“American Bourbon Whiskey does not come any finer, any more classical, any more enchanting than this breathtaking Vintage 1994. Much of its charm comes courtesy of the sinewy viscosity, the mesmerizing aroma, and the fathomless midpalate that offers flavor echoes of caramel, marzipan and honey. A world-class masterpiece.”

Well done Parker, Craig, and the whole team at Heaven Hill.”

1996 Bottling
2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition – Silver Medal“The 11th annual vintage release of Evan Williams and, judging by the taste of this bourbon, there’s no shortage of excellent bourbon to bottle. This is a rich, seductive bourbon. Sticky toffee, maple syrup, and vanilla cream notes up front are followed by candied fruit, refreshing mint, and spicy cinnamon. Dry, resinous oak finish. Kentucky’s answer to a beautifully sherried Speyside single malt scotch. Outstanding!”
– John Hansell, Malt Advocate Magazine

1997 Bottling
2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition – Silver Medal“Beautifully exotic with massive delivery of sugars, mostly brown and molassed. The flavors all arrive in a fury… the taste buds are almost run over in the rush, but what a way to go.”
– Jim Murray, Jim Murray’s Whiskey Bible 2007

1998 Bottling
2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition – Silver Medal“The latest issue from the series of annual releases, still is one of the best whiskey bargains around. Aromas of brown bananas, clove, vanilla and glove leather pour from the tasting class. In the mouth it’s smooth and mellow, well-balance and assertive, with a lingering, clean and slightly lemony finish. It’s mouth-watering as a sipping whiskey, and it invites cocktail experimentation. This is a stylish and charming whiskey, another success from the father and son distilling team of Parker and Craig Beam.”
