| Remark : | Longrow :From the Whisky pilot by Uniqum Systems :Longrow is a particular type of malt produced occasionally from one of the stills within Springbank distillery. Although the current brand was only introduced in 1973, the name was originally given to a distillery that once stood next door to Springbank, said to have been founded in 1824. It had closed by 1896. The old Longrow distillery site is now Springbank's car park. Very little Longrow has ever been released, and we understand from the brand's owners that it will be at least a couple of years before any more malt of this style is ready for release. Located in the centre of Campbeltown. Water: Crosshill Loch and a spring on the premises. |
